About Brandi

Hey Reno, I'm Brandi Anderson—boy mom, business owner, and your neighbor who’s been living the South Meadows life for 25 years. I’m running for Reno City Council Ward 6 because our community deserves a voice that gets it, someone who knows how to juggle a career, a family, and all the curveballs life throws our way.

I'm a proud graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno. My career took me across industries, but I came back to Reno because this city is like no other—where quality of life isn't just a catchphrase, it's a reality. I know what it takes to run a business, and I understand the challenges of balancing work and family. That’s why I’m all in on making Reno a place where we can all thrive.

My focus? It’s simple. I’m fighting for a safer, healthier, and more prosperous Reno. Our families deserve safe neighborhoods, access to fields, parks and recreational services, and an economy that works for everyone—especially small businesses, the backbone of our community. I’m here to make sure the growth and changes coming our way benefit all of us, not just a few.

But here’s the kicker—I’m not doing this alone. I’m backed by some of the most respected organizations in Northern Nevada. I’m honored to have the endorsements of The Sierra Nevada Realtors, Northern Nevada Central Labor Council, Local IAFF 731, Public Safety Alliance of Nevada, Planned Parenthood Advocates Mar Monte, Associated General Contractors, The Teamsters, Builders Association of Northern Nevada, and Indivisible Northern Nevada. These endorsements reflect my commitment to building a stronger, safer, and more inclusive Reno.

So, whether you're a fellow mom juggling life’s chaos, a small business owner hustling for a better future, or someone who just wants to see our city thrive, I'm your candidate. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work making Reno the best it can be—for our kids, our businesses, and our future.

I’m Brandi Anderson, and together we will continue to help Reno shine.
